The Hughes brothers wake you up with the most amazing vocal harmonies you’ve ever heard and their wives mesmerize you with dances like a beautiful waltz or a captivating ballet. Then the Hughes Brothers take you on a ride of country, Broadway and gospel music all laced with side-splitting comedy. While the children might be small fries, they pack a ton of talent in their vocal and instrumental abilities and entrance audiences of all ages. You simply have never seen so much talent in one single family.

Without a doubt, after coming to Branson 14 years in a row, we always go see the Hughes Brothers. They are very talented men, have beautiful voices, harmonize wonderfully, and are always entertaining. The music is always different, and yet the emotional ride is the same. They make you laugh, cry, appreciate, enjoy, and just leave feeling great. We recently took five grandkids from 7-15 to four shows. The Hughes Brothers was, by far, their favorite, and each for a different reason.
And then there are the families. The wives, the kids, the adopted brothers and sisters - each talented and each seem to really love to perform. No matter which show you see (the boys only, or the whole family) it is a treat. Guaranteed - if you go, you will return. Five stars are not enough. |

I enjoyed the Hughes Brother's Show, May 2006. I saw the morning family show... and by family, I mean FAMILY.... about 30 of them. I was shocked when the brothers came on stage for their opening number and their pitch and harmony was very lackluster. Especially after reading the reviews of their close harmony. I am a Music Director and judge talent competitions all over the United States, and rarely did the Hughes Brothers ever get on pitch. Again, I state that I was in complete shock! Not to say that it wasn't entertaining, but I was stunned at the lack of harmony, and ability to stay on key. The children had a tight, close harmony, and made me think of the Osmond brothers as little boys. I was sorry to hear the harmony of their fathers has digressed as they have grown. They shoud thank their lucky stars, (or Brigham Young in their case), that they have so many children that they can place into the show, cause the adults have really lost the talent ablilities, but the children are coming up strong and extremely talented and hopefully will keep the family legacy going. They seem to be extremely nice people with incredible moral values, and certainly have the ability to Entertain! |
